Congrats on your win. Northwestern is a mess this season, but Rutgers took care of business. The game's outcome was never in doubt. A little sloppy here and there, but that is true across almost all of college football's first games.
Nice balanced win. The shutout would have been a little nicer, not sure why coaches don't instruct players not to field punts in certain situations, like the one at the end of the game, we were only going to try to run out the clock on the ground, field position is meaningless.
True NW looked pathetic. Not sure if you can really gauge RU after an opponent like that but a good win nonetheless
The things I really liked- OL looked so much more in sync- NWU is not a good team but our OL did not make mistakes and they did their job.
Defense put pressure on QB and got some TO's.
Every damn KO was through the EZ
Punter looks like AK Jr
Offense looked confident and knew what it wanted to do.

I think this Northwestern team is the worst Big10 football team since we joined the conference. Forget being "good", this team isnt even average at any aspect of the game. And their QB is terrible.
Their QB was pretty good at Cincy…just saying
They also had some good play makers transfer in.
Regardless- if we won like we did at BC- I would be worried but we dominated all aspects of the game.
looked him up- 3200+ yds and 23 TDs last year at Cincy and 300+ yards against P5 teams like Ark/Ind
Hard to call the kid terrible.
Well the NW coach post game says his team is good enough to win some games. This QB has proven at Cincy he can pass the ball.
