I know what everyone is saying, but I don't see him going number 2, not after watching the Tournament - the speed, defense and shooting ability of some of these more experienced guards.
Mind listing the experienced guards and show what they looked like at 18 years old?
And also throw in what you think a “more experienced” Harper looks like at the same age?

Thank you Dylan for your loyalty. Sorry this RU season didn't meet expectations; a lot went wrong unfortunately but it was good to know we had a puncher's chance in most games when you were playing at 100%.
Not my point. I don't care how they looked as 18 year olds. I'm talking about how they look now. If you are going to draft Dylan Harper for how he is going to be 3 years from now, OK. If you want a better player right now, there are more than a few. Personally. I think Ace is one of them.

It really was an awesome few months. Borderline special maybe. What a great career on the Banks. We have been down and out for so long, I am glad we finally got the payoff. Honestly, how could anyone ask for more? At least the memories will help with a down year next season.

Have to wait until June 15th for confirmation he isn't returning.
It'll be like when RHJ waited until the last possible hour to announce he was withdrawing from the NBA Draft and was returning.
Why would he come back? Can't think of a good reason
Although he will never say it, he has to be disappointed , along with Ace, that he never played in the NCAA tournament. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that passed him by because of Pikiell's poor coaching and recruiting. Dylan and Ace gave Rutgers a chance to have a special season , but Pikiell blew it.
He won't.
But that didn't stop people from speculating all year long that he would.
We are joking that this still doesn't fully close the door.
Technically he has until June 15th to change his mind.
Thanks Dylan. Was a pleasure to watch you play, most of the games, some of the time. Wasn’t your fault that the staff choked and the other dudes couldnt play. Really wish we got to see what happens if you dont get the flu and twist your ankle. And sorry your brief career will be a footnote in an otherwise cataclysmic failure.
Good thing you aren’t a GM. Dylan has a day 1 ready game for the NBA. There are no 6’6” PGs in the tourney or in the world eligible to be drafted with his skillset.
Clearly Chow knows more about this than the guys who evaluate prospects for a living and think Dylan is a Day 1 starter and Ace has all time great potential.
No I'm not at all. I'm just saying that if you want a kid who is NBA ready right away there are better options. I think Dylan will ultimately be an NBA star.
His size is what sets him apart. There are a lot of college PG's with better skill sets and better defensive abilities.
Unfortunately, you are missing the point of how sports works. There are few, if any ready made prospects for sports at any level. Most kids coming into college needing to redshirt because they are not ready. In pro sports, it's a business and decisions have to be made on potential or you're continually a bottom feeder. At 18 Harper out played a lot of older players. Dylan's problem was staying healthy and consistent. Clearly the skills are superior when looking at his game compared to other potential NBA draft picks. Why else are experts ranking him so high? Do you have a better eye then them? Don't confuse your disappointment of the team as if he was the problem. How quickly people forget he torched an elite 8 Alabama for 37. Like that was by accident if we believe how you see things.
