I project our Kenpom to be 37 this week! They haven't lost since our crushing win over them. Three straight over top 25 teams including at Wisky.
We need to win tomorrow to be in the NCAA conversation with them.
Harper - 175Omiyuri was pretty highly recruited out of high school. Top 50 recruit if I remember
Interestingly, you could very easily argue that the player having the strongest impact on both teams wasn't rated in the top 150 of their class.Harper - 175
McConnel - 335
Geo Baker - 414
Mulcahy - 156
Omoruyi - 51
Average: 226
As a comparison:
Nance - 88
Beran - 110
Berry - 153 (roper is 154)
Audige - 379
Buie - 327
Average: 211
" That Cats win some were disparaging on this board is looking a lot better now."Rutgers had 10 steals against Wisconsin which has one of the lowest turnover totals in the nation. And Mulcahy had another really strong game. That Cats win some were disparaging on this board is looking a lot better now.

I don't think this is an accurate take.
The "disparaging" comments were almost universally directed at Collins and to a lesser extent the players for blowing a 24 point lead with 16 minutes to play, for being unable to adjust to a Rutgers defensive change.
I know I said "We have more talent than Rutgers" and "We are better than Rutgers."
The only way that is disparaging to Rutgers is if you think we suck.
But yes, our win over Rutgers is looking better now.
So you respond to my comment with "Give me a break" and then re-iterate exactly what I wrote.Give me a break. Several posters were saying “this win felt like a loss” and “the players must have zero confidence in themselves after blowing that lead” and “I would have rather just lost this game to end CCC.” It was pathetic.
I always want the Cats to win. And they pulled out a win in OT, even after surrendering a huge lead. And now they’re on a win streak. Imagine that.
The win DID feel like a loss. You shouldn't blow a 25 point lead against a similarly talented team. Just because RU is suddenly "good" doesn't change the collapse. Should we be less happy with the MSU win since they've lost a few?Give me a break. It’s about the NU fan feeling better about his team. Kind of like when there were posts about Georgia getting a good win after we beat them. You’d think it would award us a couple more wins. But it doesn’t, at best it awards a couple more moral wins. Those don’t count. The win DID feel like a loss. You shouldn't blow a 25 point lead against a similarly talented team. You have gone on record saying we should have won 2 more games with better coaching. We are 5-8 (most likely to be 5-9) and Rutgers is 9-5. So by implication now we should have won 5 or 6 more games, since we are better than Rutgers in your words. It doesn’t add up. And if you do think our coach has lost us 5-6 games this year, I will just retreat from discussion with you in utter disbelief." Saw an incredible ECHL game once at the Quizno’s Cheddar Bacon Ranch Ice Palace.Never estimate the power of sandwich name based arenas
Underwood’s *** is now redder than a hothouse full of carnationsNow they“re putting a hurt on Illinois.
No we are not. Omoruyi is considered an NBA prospect. We don't have any of those, and Mulcahy as a 6-6 point guard is a load to handle. Collins wanted him over Buie, it is said. Ron Harper Jr. is a better 3-point shooter than anyone on our roster. And all these guys have NCAA experience from last year. Just admit you underestimated them, just like you are overestimating Nicholson's abilities right now (Sure hope he lives up to your hype before he is done!)I said we are more talented than Rutgers.
I like the way that they play. They play very hard and I wish we had that mentality here. They haven't lost since our crushing win over them. Three straight over top 25 teams including at Wisky.
