Rutgers ticket prices on StubHub reality check

I was looking at tickets for next week before yesterday's game and just looked now. So far they haven't changed noticeably. West Stadium seats start in the $60s plus StubHub fee, which means minimum price of about $80 -- even behind the pillars. I think it's interesting that asking prices are much higher than for NIU during game week (and numbers of tickets available are about the same). I guess ticket sellers don't realize how dire the situation has become.:D And if those tickets sell, it may also provide further evidence that fans aren't good at sending messages to NU administration by staying home. I'd be one of those "fools" but flights back to Phoenix look back so I'll miss the fun.

One family honored at the game is singlehandedly keeping the sell out streak alive by purchasing thousands of season tickets. Those tickets do not end up on secondary markets.

I checked Stubhub last Friday night and there were tickets with fees in the endzones for just under $20 and in the 600 level under $25.

Trust me you will see the same type of prices this week if not lower. Tickets in the endzones are already in mid to upper $40's with fees...just checked. Winking

I find tickets for games with northwestern the last so many home games, and paid about that every time

This has happened for years. It is usually hard to dump tix for the non-name games for even 20 a piece down there. Usually just gave extras away to people with kids.

Anyone else pissed they bought their Wisconsin tickets early? I'm guessing I paid about 3x more than what they will end up going for by buying them early
