Good article in the Times Dispatch regarding this years crop of QBs. Manchester/Notre Dame, Henrico/Florida, Atlee/VT and Benedictine/D1 Offers. The article proceeded to talk about the class of 2000 with Michael Robinson/Penn State and Patrick Dosh/Florida. Also in the class of 2000 was Athony Martinez/UVA and Aaron Alexander Michigan State. In 1999 Varina's Michael Robinson led them to the D6 State Championship Game and Henrico's Aaron Alexander led them to the D5 State Championship Game. The state games was played that year at City Stadium with both Varina and Henrico representing RVA in a packed house. This years crop of QB are impressive but they have work to do to match that class of 2000!

QB play in 804 is the best its ever been. There are a lot of 8's that are still very good but just don't have the big name. A lot of them in every district in the 804.
I thought the quarterback talent last year was good. Not all were big time throwers, but one cannot dismiss Fludd (Monacan) and Bell (Louisa) to go with the seniors this year.
I haven't had the chance to look it up yet, but what was the kid's name that was the QB for Denbigh in 13'?
All I can think of is Dawson, but I know that isn't correct. What ever became of him? I don't think college worked out for him, if I remember correctly.
