Unlike the other 20 plus starting QBs who participated in the 7 on 7 tournament yesterday in Madison, Ryan Buchanan had to have an ice bath and IV fluids for full body cramps. Yes it was hot and yes it was a long day, but while some teams had players going both ways at receiver and d-back, all Buchanan was asked to do was stand in the pocket and throw passes. Got to wonder what he has been doing all summer.

By the way, Madison Central got beat 3 out of 7 games during pool play and Bobby Hall, fearing how bad the outcome would be once tournament play started, pulled his team out and refused to play in the tournament round.

Brandon won with Starkville coming in second.

Never been a passing team, so a 7 on 7 tournament doesn't fit their profile. MC lives on big lineman and big RBs, both of which do nothing for you in a 7 on 7. You still don't want to be getting beat by Prep though.

The benefit MC gets from a 7 on 7 is more their defense than anything. They dont run a 7 on 7 friendly offense. Dont understand why Hall would pull them out though. Who cares if they get beat? Its a preseason 7 on 7 camp. Just get the reps and improve. Justice did this the first time in summer 01. We werent defending passing teams well and he took us to the MSU team 7 on 7 camp. He knew we would get beat a lot, which we did, he just wanted our defense to get more reps vs passing offenses

you have no idea what's up with that kid. He could be easily dehydrated for a bunch of reasons.

Lebron showed how out of shape he is when he cramped up in game 4.

Like others have said, it could because of anything, such as recently being sick.

Don't know about Buchanan, but I do know that the Madison Central coaching staff is an embarrassment to the school district. Screaming, cussing, and pushing referees after the MRA game, police had to break it up.Earlier in the day the Madison Central players wanted to fight Vicksburg and had to be separated. I guess the players take after the old ball coach. What kind of character are you teaching players when you pack up and leave (quit)a tournament because you can't get your way? Medicomp put on a good tournament, but it should have been split into 2 days.

Never underestimate Bobby Hall when it comes to lowering the bar.

Now that MC has a principal that is a man and hopefully knows something about sports, maybe he'll make the right decision regarding the football program.

Honestly, what the hell does it matter? A kid who can't even vote yet is out of shape in the middle of the summer? This kid could be the next Eli Manning for TSUN. He could be designated back up his entire career. He could get busted for doing something stupid and get kicked out sophomore year. He could flunk out and be ineligible to even play at TSUN. He's got another two months before high school ball start, and then another twelve months before he could theoretically on be the field, and with the pickup of Bo Wallace he probably won't even play for two years.
