Amazing they have got it to this point. Not impossible but not likely.

I turned it on when the first group got on 17. Sure didn't figure it would be worth watching, but it was.

Few issues. If one side has a player out on the singles either have one of the captains play or add an alternate to each team or you forfeit the point. None of this half point crap. It has gotten too competitive.

Also everyone on your roster must play in one session a day. Stop with this sitting the weak link. That is supposed to be your 12 best so play them. The whole team should compete.

Pick the team earlier so you can have more team time. Have 2 weekends where you play foursomes in competition against each other and figure out how to play those formats because we suck at them.

I would add also, when we host - make sure and set the damn course up in a way that benefits the US game. We basically had the course set up this week in a way that benefitted the play of the Euros. Crucial mistake by Bradley, and he admitted that in the interview afterward.

…but our boys are showing some fire today.
Really, what an effort. The US had such a historic result at Brookline in 1999, it had gotten fuzzy in my memory that that day's record comeback was only 4 points on Sunday. Yesterday would have required an almost unthinkable 7.5 point comeback, nearly doubling the defecit in '99.

And we damn near pulled it off. Today was an incredibly good day for the US, we had just played so poorly Friday and Saturday that the hole was too deep.
