I don't know. It's playing like a cold, windy, links course. In other words, like a typical European venue
That was exactly what I posted in a few threads. It is NOT playing to long hitters. Wrong time of year. Usually this time a year, it will be a little cooler, and the big thing is windy, being right on the lake. It favors the Euros, I do not see how everyone keeps saying "The long hitters will do well". Greens will also be slow, and the rough up.
My only reasoning for JT not doing well is solely based on how he is playing right now. The last few tournaments he just did some uncharacteristic JT things, not driving it well, even having trouble with the putter. JT is super talented and has been a rock in Ryder Cup, it was solely based on what I have watched recently. Pulling for him to put it all together, when he is on, forget about it.
We HAVE to get out and jump on them early, can't fall behind 4-1 or anything like that, at worst be tied after day 1. That will set the tone for the rest of the tournament, IF they have a bad first day, it will only snowball. There is just too much I's and mot enough US as in TEAM, not US FOR United States. I really feel one of our biggest problem is team unity, along with strategy. Work on those two things and correct, no way they should lose. There is way too much talent on this team, just have to get results and use that talent.
