No, I don't think it is. I think they got along because they knew the mountain of crap that would have fallen on them had they not.
I like Rory but I have seen enough of him and the Euros over the years celebrating to no end at the USA’s expense. Frankly, I am loving the *** kicking they got this year and what looks like more to come because the Euros bench is no where near what the USA has plus we have players who actually give a crap about beating them now.
Stricker made a comment in the presser about his captains picks all being good guys who everyone likes. I kind of assumed that was about Reed. Maybe not.
Yeah. He was injured and had double pneumonia and that was enough to leave him off.
Pretty well known Reed is disliked by about everyone on tour. Much like Bubba who has tried to change his image the last few years. Brooks is just an ahole but is an elite player. Not sure about Na these days but at one time nobody liked him because of how slow he played. I think Na was a better pick from a playing better standpoint but team chemistry is important and Stricker obviously felt he was not a good fit.

Agree although I cringe anytime I see Jim Furyk anywhere near the US team. Was a disaster as Captain and Player. Mickelson is not much better. Just glad those guys got out of the way and Stricker allowed the players to do their thing. The next Captain (sounds like Zach Johnson) needs to do the exact same thing.
