I live far away from SWVA, but I've subscribed to the Bristol Herald Courier for years. Best high-school sports coverage around, for a daily newspaper. As a coach myself, I've been a huge fan of the Rye Cove story. It's hard not to be.
Same here all the way from Radford. Long time subscriber and Bristols sports coverage has been that way for decades. Top notch.
Rye Cove (and Twin Springs) has historically been second fiddle in Scott County to historic powerhouse Gate City, but I can't help but root for them as they are making a name for themselves and it's a great story.
Im even further. I'm a King William guy, but I'm living in Pennsylvania in the Allegheny Mountains for right now, but moving back to Virginia next year
Would love to see Rye Cove pull off the win. It will be difficult. This is best run of athletes Grayson has had in many years. There is a reason why the Grayson Administration badgered the Executive Committee to play down when everyone else who didn’t meet specifications lost appeal.
