They’ll fix you one like that. Made to orderI’ve never had a Cushwa dog. The only thing I put on a hot dog is mustard.

COME ON GUYS, LOL. My post was just jesting. Did not, never would say anything negative about the kids. That’s fine. Just don’t lump ER fans and kids in. That’s totally against everything with the program. They don’t talk, they just work and play hard. If they win the title then great, if not we will shake the hands of who beats us and wish them the best. And that’s the way it should be
Right or wrong, Thomasville hasn’t turned in stats to Maxpreps or the association for many years. Not consistently anyway. There are many individual stats for players and coaches that would be in the top ten in state history, but you won’t find them listed in the record book. Including Allen Brown’s number of wins for a coach at one school. Some of that is about the philosophy of team over individual.I wish Thomasville turned in stats and a complete roster to MaxPreps they don't even have a #1 or #5 listed.
According to the stats posted by ITJ, Quan Warley is 6th all time in career rushing yards but he’s not even listed in the record bookRight or wrong, Thomasville hasn’t turned in stats to Maxpreps or the association for many years. Forgot that name. Was a good oneAccording to the stats posted by ITJ, Quan Warley is 6th all time in career rushing yards but he’s not even listed in the record book
Gabe Brockett rushed for 3500 yards his senior year, Quanny Johnson over 3,000 the year before. Neither was listed the last time I looked.According to the stats posted by ITJ, Quan Warley is 6th all time in career rushing yards but he’s not even listed in the record book
Lawson Hodges is 6th all-time in (PATS) NC and not listed.According to the stats posted by ITJ, Quan Warley is 6th all time in career rushing yards but he’s not even listed in the record book
Plus, Quan got his yardage in 3 years. Everyone else in the record book's numbers were over 4 years!Lawson Hodges is 6th all-time in (PATS) NC and not listed.
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Brockett have over 500 yards rushing in a game? He’s not listed and I know that was one of the highest yards in a gamePlus, Quan got his yardage in 3 years. Everyone else in the record book's numbers were over 4 years!
I feel like he gets left out a lot when people talk about greatest backs in Thomasville history. To me he was the greatest, 3 state championships with 3 different quarterbacks. Over 8100 yards in 3 years plus he scored 106 touchdowns. The man wasn’t flashy but he was consistent!Forgot that name. Was a good one
Could be. I seem to recall a 479 yard game in the playoffs. Gabe would be third all time in single game and single season rushing. Quanny would be in the top fifteen. Allen Brown is first in state history for same school wins, one ahead of his good friend, Tom Brown.Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Brockett have over 500 yards rushing in a game? He’s not listed and I know that was one of the highest yards in a game
2 Time AP Player of the Year for all classifications. 2005 & 2006I feel like he gets left out a lot when people talk about greatest backs in Thomasville history. No.Didn’t EJ Abrams ward get POY?
He would be top 10. In 3 years!According to the stats posted by ITJ, Quan Warley is 6th all time in career rushing yards but he’s not even listed in the record book
EJ was named NCHSAA male athlete of the year in 2008 and was AP All State, but not AP POY.Didn’t EJ Abrams Ward win POY?
Akeem Davis-Gaither was a heck of a LB. Great career at App State! Now a Cincinnati Bengal.
Honestly when I think of Thomasville that’s what I think of. Defense led by the linebackersThomasville has a tremendous history of great LBs through the years
He’s a heckuva coach for sure. Had a great season, just going to be outmatched this weekThomasville will be fine here. Just get that run game going. It will be interesting to see how South's RB Carrick does. Kid is a load.
It is amazing how much Dave has turned South around in the past 3 years though. By 2015 they were in dire straights and the coach before him was down to begging kids to come out. It was beyond sad. Dave's won a playoff game and has had 2 winning seasons so not bad at all. They've also refixed their youth team; he will leave them in a much better state when he does go.
Guys, guys! Stop talking about our storied history. Were just some new wet behind the ears school in 1A west that got lucky to make it in the playoffs. We never won a championship, let alone beat any mountain teams. Also, Tarboro not the defending champs and a great team apparently.![]()
All eyes on #11Thomasville has a tremendous history of great LBs through the years
He plays hard! Always around the ball when he’s in the game…him and #24, Gatt I believe, are both sophomores and they’re gonna be anchoring the defense for two more years! All eyes on #11
Lot of young teams in 1A. Some great years ahead for sureHe plays hard! Always around the ball when he’s in the game…him and #24, Gatt I believe, are both sophomores and they’re gonna be anchoring the defense for two more years!
The size and speed will keep coming. 8th grade class is big and very fast. Scored 216 and allowed 20 all year. Two of those were actual trash TD's late in the 4th quarter on 7th graders. That defense if it develops like it should will be great in two years. He plays hard! You can't even mention the LB position at Thomasville unless you add Vincent Steele to the mix. That man was a hitting machine.Thomasville has a tremendous history of great LBs through the years
TVILLEDAWG2370 are you going to the game tonight? Was thinking about heading over to CUSHWA stadium after I get off of work.Game Day Bulldogs…let’s go!!!
And RARELY fumbled!Quan Warley was a beast,he could read his blocks very very well
My old classmate Bobby Henderson too!You can't even mention the LB position at Thomasville unless you add Vincent Steele to the mix. That man was a hitting machine.
I remember Tim Sanders (RB) played on those teams as well and then went on to play at App State. Tim always ran hard during those championship years. My old classmate Bobby Henderson too!
Timmy is the best back in Thomasville history in my humble opinion and I am a little biased since that was my classmate as well.I remember Tim Sanders (RB) played on those teams as well and then went on to play at App State. Tim always ran hard during those championship years.
Tim Sanders was a work horse during those championship years. Overall Thomasville had some great players over the years without a doubt. I wish I could have seen that 1995 team play. I had to follow everything over the internet (Lexington Dispatch) due to being in the Navy. I graduated from East Davidson in 85 but I have always pulled for The Dawgs as well.Timmy is the best back in Thomasville history in my humble opinion and I am a little biased since that was my classmate as well.
