and I also thought it was funny when Saban made a jab about why the spread isn't any good- essentially because you can't get that 1 yard at the goal line- and Meyer quickly defended it saying that's why you go to the single wing.... I'm suprised there wasn't more jabbing going on between those two last night.
On that same note, I know it's been said but I thought both coaches were excellent last night and added a lot to the broadcast. I think if Meyer goes the broadcast route with ESPN he is going to be good- seemed very comfortable in front of the camera.
