Saban

[Dawg Raid]

I finished watching his ESPN documentary. He said he always wanted to coach places where it was a challenge and he could bring the program from nothing to great.

Well Nick, what are you waiting for? Don’t we have a job for you in Starkville

[Howiefeltersnstch]

Yeah, thats why he went to LSU and Bama. You know some times people are just full of schitt. Should be apparent to any SPSer

[HailStout]

Yep. I liked girls that made me work for it. That’s why I waited to see what was left on the dance floor when Rick’s hit closing time.

In his defense, both were pretty low per their standards when he took the jobs.

Right, so he ran from Michigan State, the only place that would fit that description and made a living at LSU and Bama. Real challenging.

Never said he was telling the truth

[RocketDawg]

It's impossible, but don't you think that would tick a lot of Bama fans off?

[BTCMoonBoy]

The bear was a great coach …..saban was no bear

[StillTbonewannabe]

He also quit the NFL where the playing field is the most level. After Michigan St, he only coached where he always had an advantage. Like a high school senior that only plays basketball games against 8th graders.

Bear was 33-23-1 (.588) vs top 10 teams. Saban was 37-14 (.725).

Did he say anything about looking at condos at Old Waverly?

[vhdawg]

I've said for years, Nick, you want to prove you're the best coach in college football?

Take the Vanderbilt job.

What a pile of crap. He NEVER did that. And he left college football as soon as he saw that keeping Bama at the very top was going to get MUCH more difficult.
