I have seen and heard allot of whining,, bitching, and moaning going on today about MSU getting snubbed by this bowl and that bowl. I have listened to people bitching and reminding meabout getting snubbed by the Outback bowl in 99.

Hear this you bitches:

Get off you mother17ing asses, spend some money you cheap bastards and get your asses to the GD gator bowl. I have talked to so many people in the last two hours who have said, I was gonna go to Atlanta but Im not going to Florida because I can drive instead of fly, blah, blah, blah. Too expensive, flights are high, hotels are wanting 3 night minimums @ $250 per night. Cry me a 17ing river!

Guess what, this the exact perception that these bowls (and everyone else) has toward MSU and you are fulfilling the stereotype. You wanna top notch program, it doesnt start by giving a few hundred dollars a year to the bulldog club, it means taking your *** to whatever bowl game we get invited to no matter the cost. GET THERE AND FILL UP THE SEATS! Otherwise, a half empty gator bowl will be on television and in the minds of bowl reps next year when they are selecting teams.

We are in a New Year's Day bowl people! We need to support Dan, the team, and the school in this bowl game.

so yes, we need to make it a great TV atmosphere so we don't have to wring our hands next year about getting the Liberty with 8 wins.

I'll be cutting corners everywhere I can, but you can bet your *** I'll be there. I question the fan hood of any so called State fan who isn't there, whether you're handicap, old, young, sick, or have "family obligations". Get your *** a ticket and be there.

but you are aware that the BC oversold their Gator Bowl allotment, right?

We'll have plenty of people there.

well, I hate that we'll be driving twice as far, but we're still going. Got tickets and hotel rooms minutes after the announcement. **** is gonna get real in Jacksonville.

For some dumbass reason I didn't pre order for Gator through BC thinking those wouldn't be a problem to get after announcement. Does anyone know if there will be more tickets released through BC or University or where to go to get tickets. And I'mm going thank goodness for company car and gas!!!!!

organize something like what Clemson does with the $2 bills? I mean literally flood Jacksonville with $2 bills stamped with MSU to show that we not only sell tickets, but we spend money and we are a school that they would want back.

I think something like this is a great idea.

Anything that brings positive attention to having MSU in a bowl is a good thing.

being pissed about the Music City and not going to Nashville to see the game. I don't agree with it, but I could see it. But this is the Gator Bowl, a new years day bowl and it is one of the oldest bowls in the field (1940's I think). This is a legit bowl game against one of the most historic teams in college football history. We HAVE to travel well and fill that stadium up, like someone mentioned, it is key to next years selection as well.

If you don't want to go because its not in Atl or Tampa or because it is to far thats insane. Sack up and drive and the good times will roll especially after we beat that Michigan ***. Could be the second UM team we beat in a row, hopefully.
