Read the article. It does not say that Drew is a top candidate for the LSU job, it is a reporter suggesting who LSU should consider. In fact, the article indicates that a top level coach would be hard to attract because of the hot water Wade has put the program in.

How do we know LSU is getting better candidates than us? Louisville hasn’t mentioned any candidates only the fan base has. All the KP talk is coming from fans, reporters and talk show host not from Louisville administration.
It will take some guts to take that job. With that said the SEC doesn’t care and have too much power. LSU won’t be put in 4-5 year of NCAA purgatory like Louisville. The timing of the LSU NOA saves them. The get their notice and hearing pretty quick. They will get a multi year ban though.

Josh knew this last week along with 3 other alleged big fish .What i kinda heard last week is part why he had to go speak with Beard too calm things down and not mess things up with KP. Yell Beard and Eaves are cancers but they both have alot of connections within the NBA and college and knew about those big fish not being attainable. Certain former players knew alot of this Maybin was trying to tell these fans what was going down why he was mad. Was no need to keep chasing things that were never happening wasting valuable time.

I think you have a certain segment of the fanbase that wanted Louisville to see who was interested. The former players probably wanted Louisville avoid the entire process and go with Kenny. By going through the process pretty quickly it satisfies both groups.
