This hurts my heart. Talk about loyal and an integral part of GW Athletics. He loved GW sports and never ever missed a basketball or football game. He loved the kids and I have personally have never ever seen that man drop a ball that was kicked through the uprights. God bless his family and the GW community through this time.
Steve's health had deteriorated over the last couple of years but it did not curb his enthusiasm. To my knowledge he never missed a game. No doubt Steve loved GW athletics. Things won't quite be the same without him.
Would like to give a special shoutout to GW athletic trainer Brandon Owens who was a true friend to Steve. Brandon helped him in many ways. Thanks Brandon for all you did.

Was just glad coach Anderson had Steve speak to the team last Thursday and he was able to see his last game at JF God bless you Steve you were a true Eagle
