I am flying in from LA next week for the game and I am guessing tickets will be easy to find for a nice price

Makes me wonder how much longer the sellout streak lasts. I know I wouldn't pay a dime to watch this team, but maybe some fans still will for a few more games, I don't know.

It's disappointing that we hang our hats on a sell-out streak. What has Husker Nation become?

Well, we had a 4 week preview. We forced em to have to pass to win and when that happened, they had us right where they wanted us. Cant say I didn't see this coming. How many more Records are gonna fall? Are there any left besides sellout streak???

I agree. It's sad to me that the bowl streak is gone, as is the winning season streak, the 9-win streak, etc. This is the last one left.

It's crazy that it's the only one left, and I can't imagine this lasting considering the product we've seen on the field lately.

It's because you're used to this now. The program is no longer great.
Yeah...I don't like the way I am able to bounce back after these. Used to drive me nuts for a long time. Now, just shake the head and wait for bball season.

There's how far we've fallen. People still talk about 9 wins being relevant. You do look at our schedule every year don't you? And out record against top 20 teams? There's a reason we win 9 games and recruits don't vome here. They see us play top 20 teams and lose 70 percent of them. These kids don't care about the 90s. It ain't changing.

I also laughed. This game sealed it for me that I will not drive up for a game this year. Hard to invest the time and money for the current product on the field.

By the way...I was laughed at when I asked if we were going to make it to a bowl game a couple weeks ago. I guess it was a valid question.

You misinterpreted me. When I mentioned the 9-win streak, I wasn't referring to Bo's 9-win seasons where we got crushed every time we played a good team. I was referring to the 9-win streak that ended under Solich in 2002, and then the bowl streak ended in 2003 (I believe). The reason 9 and 10 wins used to be impressive is that there was an 11-game regular season, and you had to be impressive to get there. Now, with a longer regular season, conference championship games and bowl games for 5-win teams, none of that is as impressive, but the point is that we had the streak when it mattered, before the season got longer and any team that wasn't horrible could go to a bowl game.
