Hey Bear classic indeed.
Except for Austin, isn't NO the biggest gay town between SF and Key West?
I've had no motivation to check that out in person, just read about it somewhere on the interweb.

a sizable gay population. Not sure how it compares to other cities. I've heard Birmingham has a large community too. This parade wasn't about gayness however. It was a tribute to Buddy D (long time saints and sports radio commentator) who said that if the saints ever went to the super bowl he would wear a dress down bourbon street. Unfortunately, Buddy D never got to see that, he passed a few years ago. So, all of his fans were parading in tribute to him. I'm sure he was smiling as he looked down.
