In the Broncos game he may (stretch here) gotten the yard. If we are questioning though, I blame the play call. I think the D is to blame for the Redskins loss and probably the Broncos loss (21 1Qtr pts).
think he would have gotten in against the broncos...he would have done the patented "deuce one yard leap"

but very well could be 4-0. The Redskins totally outplayed the Saints that game so it's hard for me to see a win there as a "could 'a", even if it did come down to a 3rd & 1 that Deuce could have picked up.
Denver, no doubt should have won that one. Even without Deuce... got absolutely screwed on the no-call on the 3rd & 1 when their DE was beyond the neutral zone

Deuce is a power back (as evidenced by his moving 10 guys 5 yards yesterday). I like his chances on the goal line against Denver at the end of the 1st half. I say the Saints are 4-0 with a 100% healthy Deuce playing. That's the good thing about the NFL though: 2 games won't cost you anything except "The Greatest Team Ever Assembled" title.

I would rather be 2-2 with a healthy Deuce than 4-0 and Deuce out for the year again...
I can understand being a little cautious with him, it is a long season and we need him at 100% at the end of the year.

...they need a healthy Duece. Saving him for a few carries here, a few carries there, and he should be healthy for a playoff run.
we should have won the Devner game despite no Deuce. How the refs missed that call is unbelievable but if Deuce had played he would have gotten a yard on that play.
