That was a weak throw by Drew. Looked like he just flat could not get it there. Hope they win it this year and he retires on a high note.

He has lacked the zip at times for a couple of seasons now. Commentators also mentioned he was protecting his ribs so he didn’t step into the throw. I don’t see him coming back. Didn’t he already declare this was his last season?

I’ve watched every Saints game this year. IMO, Drew has had more zip on his passes these past two weeks.

Would love to see Dak in NO but I’ve seen way too many people point out that there is nowhere near the cap room for Dak. Especially if the cap number is down next year as many have said.

Im sure those ribs have a lot to do with it. If you have ever had broke ribs its crazy painful. I forgot about his ribs and honestly don't know how he is playing

Most of these guys wait about 2 years too late to retire. Aside from about 3 throws he has been good today so I don't know. Maybe he has another good year in him.

This Saints Defense will not cut it if they get by Round 1. Thru will not beat Seattle or Green Bay with this defense. Looks like the old Saints.

This defense could beat Seattle. Seattle has possibly the worst defense in the league on the other side. Agreed that this defense wouldn’t get by Green Bay.

??? No defense is perfect. I like where we are on all three levels, especially up front. If we can be a ball control efficient offense we can win the Super Bowl. Saints are one of the few teams in the NFL that is built to beat the high scoring passing offenses like GB, SEA and KC.

We should make the NFC Championship but getting past GB at GB or anywhere will be tough.
Will take one of the better Offensive days, Lutz making makable FG’s and the secondary playing better than they have.

Jenkins did not have a good day.

NFL ranks...
Total D - 3rd
Rush D - 4th
Pass D - 6th
Scoring D - 7th

Saints D is fine. It's the nfl, you don't shut everyone down all the time. Vikings have a good offense, and they were fighting for their playoff lives. Missing Marcus Williams at FS today didn't help matters... he should be fine by playoffs

Right. Defense is not the problem at all. Before Drew was hurt they were rolling. When healthy they could be the best in the NFL.
When Hendrickson and Marcus get back they will be good. Kwon getting injured was definitely a big blow.
