........Randall Gay is expected to start opposite McKenzie on Sunday. For example, from today's BR Advocate:

PROJECTED STARTERS: McKenzie (LCB), Gay (RCB), Kaesviharn (FS), Harper (SS).

OUTLOOK: If there was one certainty following last season, it was that the secondary would get a makeover after the Saints ranked 30th in passing yards allowed and gave up 32 TDs - tying for most in the league. They also were hit for 54 pass plays of 20 yards or longer, so they signed Gay in free agency and grabbed Porter in the second round of the draft. McKenzie had ACL surgery in late December, but is hoping to be ready to go. The other starting spot is up for grabs among Gay, David, Craft, Porter, Glenn and Young. Bullocks and Harper return at safety, but Kaesviharn could push for a starting job as well.

If the DL can't get pressure, you fantasy geeks better start Galloway......

JD not even mentioned.......

McKenzie's status will help determine who is starting at cornerback, an issue that constantly had been changing with the injuries and performances of the preseason.

Usama Young, who had a hamstring problem, was not on Wednesday's injury report and would be an option at cornerback. A healthy McKenzie is an option as a starter, and the Saints could go with the recently acquired Randall Gay or rookie Tracy Porter.

"I started the last two preseason games, but coming into this game, I really don't know where the coaches want me," Porter said. "They're definitely confident in me, but I'll just have to wait until they call my number."
