I don't understand where Pierre Thomas was on the 4th and short and the late 3rd and short... don't understand.

And he was getting his knee/ankle wrapped on the late third. Ivory is a solid back. Very little you can do when a guy puts his helmet on the ball. Pierre almost lost one against the Vikes last year on a very similar play.
