Salem is Going to Use the Loss to Improve

Don't count Salem out. Salem will improve. Both the coaches and players will use the loss to Blacksburg to improve their craft. Hopefully this loss will light a fire in the players and team leaders will rise up. The team needs to be focused on working to make each other better! Work hard in practice and embrace each opportunity with determination and grit. I believe in this team. Use this loss as a rally cry. Move on but don't forget!

I hope you're right. But this team is lacking the chemistry and leadership past teams possessed. Last year when everybody counted them out, the captains rallied the troops and they gelled well. This year they are flat footed and come across unprepared for their competition. Just my opinion, but you can't force chemistry. It makes up for a boatload of shortcomings.
