Dude has 7 or 8 NFL teams that called him in less than an hour. WHY would you go to coach college football?
I bet there are a few more than would fire their sitting head coach to hire him. Sometimes a fresh face is needed but im still a little shocked Baltimore decided to move on. Especially given the injuries they had this year.

As a dolphins fan, I hope they are on the phone tonight meeting whatever demand he has.

Pretty crazy. Granted not a lot of playoff success the last decade but he’s won a lot of games. 43-25 in last 4 years. And it’s not like this year was a disaster. 8-9 and if his kicker makes a FG they’re in the playoffs.

No established college coach wants to come here so why would an established NFL coach with bonafides come to beautiful downtown Starkvegas to get his teeth kicked in by 80% of the SEC ?? Not to mention a pay cut as well as having to kiss butt recruiting kids to come here

The same reason people who made over 30 on the English portion of the ACT became fans of Mississippi State. They may have never seen a game but the damn sure read about one.

Yea, JH would be out if his mind to A) coach college ball and B) come to Starkville.
Have you ever set foot in Baltimore? Several years ago, we made the mistake of driving through downtown Baltimore, even though it was late afternoon and still broad daylight. A large group of young gangsters were set up at a redlight, washing the windows of cars stopped at the redlight and demanding payment when no money was offered. The lesson I learned that day: avoid Baltimore, at whatever cost is required to do so. Just a heads-up for anybody going to Baltimore.

I have. Downtown Baltimore is great.
