Really piss-poor camera work there; really hard to tell what's going on.
BTW - Cupp on the pine with Mershon at SS; Larry at 2B and Stevens DH.

Watching this game reminds me how insane our park really is.

I’m always amazed how programs that treat baseball like the club sport it is consistently compete and beat programs that spend millions on college baseball
If teams walked DJ and Hines we would rarely score. It's sad to see a team like Samford have better players. We are not gonna make it through SEC play.
It takes some effort to be bad enough to have 1st and 3rd with no outs and 2-3-4 coming up, and score ZERO without a double play involved.

This game should be comparable to Lewisburg vs Hickory Flat compared to the resources spent (or wasted in the case of MSU) on both programs.
Needed a good OOC road win. OOC schedule just killing is right now. We have the 13th rpi in the conference.
You can’t be serious. Samford RPI is north of 100 and will only go higher.
our non conference schedule was a joke. The losses in it is a bigger joke. Will make hosting difficult
The mid-week struggles suck, but several SEC schools are going through the same thing. Gators seem to do it weekly and are still top 10.
They are 16-8. That’s all that matters. It’s 50% of the calculation. And it was on the road. It’s really helpful. We went from 50 to 45 after the win tonight.

regardless even with a strong sec schedule it’ll be interesting to see how high we can get. The Ooc schedule if we are a middle of the pack sec team will likely keep us from hosting
Don’t let the size of the stands fool you. Samford is a solid program, and my second favorite place to watch a baseball game.
Again we jumped 5 spots. It obviously helped. If we played Samford every game this year we would have the #2 opponent record in the country. Its a fantastic RPI game to play there.

it’s a quad 2 game. Nothing special. But better than what we typically play, which is good, but cmon..
Florida played fsu tonight. let’s not pat ourselves on the bat for beating nor scheduling Samford. Geez
Yeah we have a terrible OOC schedule. Thay was part of my post. But these are the smart games. We should schedule more of them. On the road. High win percentage opponent. Very smart. The rest of the schedule is dumb.
