It was the son of the Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator. Great prank but can't believe he videod himself making the call.

I guess all is good. He apologized and coach is in good standing.

I wouldn’t call it a great prank. I don’t care who the recipient on the other end was, getting drafted is obviously a once in a lifetime opportunity that shouldn’t be ruined. It was a d-bag move.

Sander's family has nobody to blame but themselves for a ruined draft day.

Why wouldn't the coach be in good standing?

I thought the circus of not drafting this kid because people thought he was an arrogant was as big a circus as the Sanders family behavior. So, you return juvenile behavior with juvenile behavior. Some NFL execs better hope to God that this kid isn't good. NFL QB position is one of the most difficult to evaluate. So, who knows how good any of these guys are right now. I can see some execs losing their job over this one if Sanders works out because the whole thing was silly.

You are lost on this one. Teams didn't want to invest $10-35m in someone that is high risk. Juvenile? Too much at stake from these GM's to be Juvenile. It's not only the family baggage, most didn't see him having 1st round talent. The bagged pushed him to the later rounds.

Execs aren't going to lose their jobs over this. That said, Cleveland's may for drafting him (after taking a QB in an earlier round). It's going to ugly in Cleveland.

Again, I hope Sanders proves everyone wrong. Teams loaded him up with plenty of ammunition.

I don’t get all the fuss over the prank. It’s been done before and there wasn’t universal outrage.

I don't think the Cleveland Execs have anything to worry about in regards to if this pick works out or not, as long as Jimmy Haslam is the owner, from the way he was hovering over them and then their facial expressions when slow clapping quite unenthused after the pick, sure looked to be a owner influenced pick, to me, LOL

Just because I disagree on the risk does not make me lost. I just feel the things you are calling baggage is not baggage at all. I saw people invest millions on a guy with unresolved sexual assaults. Malachi Moore got drafted before Shedeur and he had Mental Health breakdown on the field. Kicking the ball at the Line of scrimmage. I just don't like the message it sends to our Black kids at all. American Society always questions Black culture all the time. However, what I see is these teams rewarding the bad behavior of Black kids all the time. However, you penalize a Black kid that has exhibited none of those things because he is over-confident? WTH. ....and you wonder why Black parents that are trying to do the right thing have such a hard time. They see the wrong things get rewarded too much. So, I just come from a different perspective than you on this.

I picked that up too. The execs seemed to have the attitude that someone made them do this. Doesn't matter now. Let's see how he looks on the field.

You are lost because you are calling the other side juvenile for Sanders sliding. At the end of the day, you could very well be right but teams made business decisions. You don't like their decision so that makes it juvenile?

Sanders will live. You never ranked called anyone?
I’m not calling for anyone to be thrown in prison. But it also isn’t funny when you’re talking about a dream moment most of these guys have had since they were kids. Maybe we should start pranking people right in the middle of their child being born. That would give everyone a good laugh.

Yes. When I was probably 12 years old. You’re going to equate these two situations? Is that where this is headed?
Lock him up! Last i check prank calls aren't illegal. Pull up some on-line. Much, much worse than Sanders and it's adult radio host making the call.

Have a sense of humor. No harm, no foul.

30 days for what, making a prank phone call? The counties would have to build scores of new jails to hold all the people being held for prank phone calls, practical jokes and hurting other people's feelings. Shadeur and Bond are both professional athletes who have no problem putting themselves in front of the public with shameless self promotion. If they can't take the grief they get when they don't live up to their own hype, maybe they need to look in the mirror and ask themselves if maybe they should be a little more humble.

the county jails would be empty.....thats my point....the 30 days would put an end to it....real quick... its called setting a precedent....you people are missing the point....this isn't like calling a random grocery store and asking a random employee if they have pig's feet....this is a personal attack in my book...its singling out an individual to humiliate...for clicks...they should be held accountable

Pretty much all practical jokes are a personal attack. One person is playing a joke on another person and humiliating them on some level. Shadeur wasn't injured or damaged in any way. He and Deion want to be public figures. Being made fun of goes with that territory when you don't live up to the hype you create for yourself. If hurting someone's feelings is going to be a crime we have become far too sensitive as a country.

We long ago became too sensitive of a country but this wasn't about "hurting feelings"....I see this at the least harassment.....somebody agrees with me because $350,000 worth of fines were handed out today....such isn't done over hurt feelings

Sounds like you are the only one with hurt feelings. The Sanders family didn't take the prank too seriously. The fines were not for the prank calls.
