wasn't it the infamous poster "donthateme" (or something like that) that said he wasn't an SEC caliber player b/c he got lit up during a football game?

share about 30 catchable passes next year. If that bowl game is any indication, Tapp or whoever that guy was that came in isn't going to remind anyone of Snead (or maybe he will to some degree) and unless Cotton turns out to be an accurate passer, which most dont think he will, receptions in oxford will not be plentiful. But, they listened to that nerd coach's spill and whoever else was in their ear.

Basically, he was the fall back guy in case the first 6 fall back guys didn't sign in case our real priorities didn't sign. You have to stay in touch with 10 receivers just in case the 3 you want don't sign or the next 6 don't sign either, but we were never really recruiting him.

As much as many UM fans ***** about Snead, by next November, they're going to be wishing for the days they had him at QB.

The guy who came in to relieve Snead was Nathan Stanley, but remember the name Randall Mackey. Another David Palmer type who can pass! Nutt will probably play 3 QB's in some fashion, but as of now, Mackey is probably the most talented.

that I said about nutt was that he is a nerd. The reason I don't see them throwing the ball aroundalot is that even with Snead (who threw the hell out of it two seasons ago), Patterson only caught a handful of passes. An argument can be made concerning Hodge catching alot of passes.Problem is,you have a limp armed Tapp and a freshman who had a reputation as run first and second and pass third coming out of H.S.

If I were a WR, and I had the chance to go to MSU coached by Mullen with the spread and a chance to play with Russell for 3 or 4 years or FSU which is usually always pretty balanced on offense and a program with a long history of success not to mention they have won two NC ('93&'99), or Ole Miss that likes to run the ball 70% of the time, Ole Miss would be the last place I would go. Sorry VS, but you're a dumb-***. Have fun run blocking!

if you can't see that Mississippi's passing game, really the whole offense, is going to suck next season you're blind (to paraphrase our thankfully departed Walrus).

I do know that I feel a lot better about what we have coming back on offense than I would if I were a Mississippi fan. Of course at this point, that's just my opinion and I'm sure yours is probably different.

In all seriousness, if y'all can replicate the tenacity and focus y'all played with in the Egg Bowl, y'all should easily be bowl eligible. The hard part is doing that throughout the course of a season in the SEC.
