He still got paid, so I guess it doesn't matter to him. 45 guilty verdicts out of 48 counts is beyond substantial. The only grounds he figured he really had a shot at appealing were with the technicalities with the janitor... and maybe a biased jury (which makes you wonder his affirming comments about the jury).

It has to be hard to be a lawyer and represent a person like Sandusky. I guess in that case all he is hoping to do is save face and get his client protective custody in jail.

His client was convicted on 45 of 48 counts in a very high profile case. He didn't do a good job at all leaving doubt in jurors minds about anything. I think he did a pretty bad job from day 1 with some of the statements he made.

told the trial court, the Superior Court and the Supreme Court we were
not prepared to proceed to trial in June due to numerous issues, and we
asked to withdraw from the case for those reasons," Amendola said.</p>
