Agree 100% my friend. I try telling people that. Saban will go down as the greatest college football coach ever.Of course that is why he hired Sark. Saban is always a step ahead of the competition for the most part. That is why he is the greatest college football coach in the history of the game.
I knew he was going to become the OC once kiffin left. Makes you wonder if saban hired sarkisian in case kiffin left. Anyways the offense will practically be the same.
Best ever coach? No. Best recruiter? Yes. Saban couldn't win 7 games with Kentucky's talent. Bank on that.
NFL made him their *****.
Coach Saban is the greatest coach of his generation, not of all time.Of course that is why he hired Sark. Saban is always a step ahead of the competition for the most part. That is why he is the greatest college football coach in the history of the game.
I get what you are saying, but recruiting is a part of coaching. I hate when opposing fans argue that Cal is not a good basketball coach and is only good at recruiting.Best ever coach? No. Best recruiter? Yes. Saban couldn't win 7 games with Kentucky's talent. Bank on that.
NFL made him their *****.

Couldn't make it in the pros, had mixed results early in the career. Found his groove at Michigan State and better at LSU. At Alabama, he has combined an intensity to succeed with hiring good to great coaches to become the best recruiter in contemporary times. And, he coaches with an even higher intensity to win. He has "it."Lot of truth in this post. How many five stars the last four years, five so far this year. A very good coach but------

The whole thing makes you wonder if Kiffin had a spot on the Bama coaching staff next year.
I and several other people posted here on this website more than a month ago that Sarkisian would replace Kiffin as Alabama's offensive coordinator. But a couple of other guys insisted Saban would bring in someone else from outside. At the time, they were pushing their silly theory that Mac Jones would decommit from Alabama and sign with Kentucky, which isn't happening and never was. Sarkisian was not necessarily stashed in Tuscalosa to replace Kiffin. But once it became clear (by October really) that Kiffin was on his way out, it was always going to be Sarkisian. Saban can plug in a new defensive coordinator pretty easy since Saban himself is really their defensive coordinator. But they need an experienced offensive coordinator with a name, who already believes in that system, and Sarkisian is perfect for them.I knew he was going to become the OC once kiffin left. Makes you wonder if saban hired sarkisian in case kiffin left. Anyways the offense will practically be the same.
If we're gonna throw recruiting in the mix, let's not forget that Bear Bryant had unlimited scholarships and nowhere near the competition. Saban over Bryant, Coach K over Wooden.

No, he didn't. Writing was on the wall. The whole thing makes you wonder if Kiffin had a spot on the Bama coaching staff next year.
Wow,I like what Stoops has done this year but I had no idea he was this good, the SEC better start to worry.UK on top of the league in basketball and football,I'm not sure the league is ready for that, but they will get over it in timeSo Saban couldn't, but Stoops did. Therefore Stoops > Saban.
I can get behind that.
