I don’t understand the hate for Satt. It’s not like Brohm is setting the world on fire here. Satt got us winning records and bowl games. His record against LPT I admit was poor, so maybe that’s it. Of all our coaches since Howard, I think Charlie was my favorite- his teams were tough.

No ill will for Satterfield from me. I'd actually like to see him be more successful at Cincy..

Also glad Cincy took him off our hands, as Brohm is a significantly better coach. But I do not wish him any ill will and would like him to succeed wherever he goes.

I do not have any ill will for ole Coach Satt, but I do think that we would have never advanced past being mediocre and middle of the pack in the ACC under his leadership. Add to that, he was always looking for the first opportunity to bounce, so in the end, it worked out for both parties. I do think that it's ironic or funny that he bounced and is in no better a situation.

Satterfield
  • 2019: 8-5 (5-3 ACC), won Music City Bowl, ACC Coach of the Year.
  • 2020: 4-7 (3-7 ACC).
  • 2021: 6-7 (4-4 ACC), lost First Responder Bowl.
  • 2022: 8-5 (4-4 ACC). won Fenway Bowl (with Branch as HC)
Brohm
  • 2023: 10-4 (7-1 ACC), lost Holiday Bowl, Played in ACC Championship Game
  • 2024: 9-4 (5-3 ACC), won Sun Bowl
  • 2025: 9-4 (4-4 ACC), won Boca Raton Bowl

We lost the Holiday bowl. But we got moss out of the deal.

I don’t cheer for him or cheer against him but he was looking for another job before we were looking for a new coach.
