6 point game is crazy after that brick fest.
Not even Calipari could blow a 6 point lead with this Duke squad. Zero chance they lose this one.
The whole tournament has been extremely predictable.
Duke was able to waste away the final 40+ seconds of that half because they wouldn’t in bounds the ball. Some kind of rule should be in place for that.

As bad as Houston has been on offense, the 3-pointer has kept them within striking distance. Their defense has been “good enough”.

Good 1st half finish by Houston. Still a game. They were down 11 with 3:00 to play. Need to hit more shots and avoid stupid mistakes.
I'm waiting on someone post if we had stayed healthy we would be playing tonight. My statement is about as true as saying Houston is horrible. There were no horrible teams in this year's or any year for that matter. Houston would be the second or third best team in the SEC. Does it make any sense to call any final four team horrible. We may not like them or we may despise them but that does not mean they are horrible. I know we beat Duke & Florida earlier but we all know we would not beat either at the level they are playing or played tonight. I hope Pope can get us to that level but it was not this year with him FAR exceeding anything we could have hoped for.

We couldn’t get somebody like that if we offered them 3 million. There is some unknown reason they get some of these guys over and over. I don’t know if the brotherhood has some kind of secret things they do or if it’s lifetime birthday cards, but it’s something. Most of their players don’t even want to leave school. It’s sickening to me, I have never liked them or their coaches.

I don't know if UH can string together enough shots and stops to close this gap....but physically, they look somewhat like a NBA team. They also appear to be well conditioned. Might be able to fatigue Duke a little in the end but the 10+ point differential is a tough climb for the cougars.
