ark is like 2-3” taller at every position, and has better shooters. sju going after it so hard they got no legs to shoot. they are wrapping up the defensive boards though.

sju is 10-42, and 1-13 on threes. “just can’t miss them all”. lol
That rim looked stiff as hell, interesting to see how Arky does on that end. Everything was in and out.

Cal couldn’t get his freshman to play like this at Kentucky, to much pressure. The pressure at Kentucky is tremendous, more so than at Arkansas. Funny, he had higher ranked freshman at Kentucky but they couldn’t perform as well as some of the freshmen he has now, especially in the NCAA tournament.

Didn't we go to 4 final fours in 5 seasons with said freshmen at UK?

Pitino leaving KY was a mistake.

Cal leaving wasn't.

Cal is better off as he had built a culture that couldn't win.
pitino would have taken a good portion of coach k’s success. no telling how many wins and titles he’d have.

all the same, he has a wanderlust and needs a new challenge. it was probably not going to last 20 years, even if he could go back and choose again. he still would have had a historic run though, and would have been in the hof before 2010.

Hopefully one or both teams find some offense in the second half. A ton of athleticism and ton of effort with not much to show for either team. I think 8 players have 2 fouls and Z has 3. Eventually St John’s should beat them on the inside if Arkansas doesn’t get hot from 3

And UCONN.
and for uk, a higher winning % and a lot more wins, ff’s and probably an extra title or two.

well, he we are watching our former coaches in the second round. it’s actually more dramatic than i would have figured. as far as effort, these players couldn’t play as hard if it was the ff. it’s been entertaining. glad we get the day off.

Is this satire? You think Davis, Wall, Fox, Randall didn’t play well in the tournament?
