A Saturday evening in Sept. should be nice weather wise. The first Saturday night of the semester for the students. Party in the afternoon, go to the game and party after.
I know it's Temple who won't bring many fans but any guesses on attendance?
most of the forecasts have a decent chance of rain Saturday, and Saturday night....weather day before and after, fine

we can hope the timing of bad weather changes

I think we can almost guarantee more butts in seats on Saturday just due to the game time. No searing sun and heat at 7:30pm! Temple probably won’t have many fans like usual but it’s a local game and that will also draw some folks in to watch too.

Where is @RU848789 with the weather thread already? I'm perfectly fine getting some on Saturday night, but is it gonna rain?
Started one last night. Way too early to predict when/where/how intense any showers might be at this distance. But we all know even the threat of some bad weather is usually enough to dampen attendance for our fairly fair weather fanbase. I went to Temple in 2002 and stayed the whole game, not under any cover, so it's safe to say I'll be there, lol.

I'm always up for an intense shower on a Saturday night at home, but NEVER at Penn State. 😱

Going to be a TON of no shows with the weather. Tons of people are dumping their tickets onto reseller sites for peanuts.

Based on the showing of last week's game and Temple being local I think we'll do about the same. Maybe better.

You just basically said in another thread the team stinks and will be lucky to win 4 games . So please explain why you would think we would have major issues if two crappy teams don’t sell out Saturday night ?

Too bad about the weather. I think it could have been a real nice turn out especially for a team like Temple.
