I guess you can look at this two ways. Giving up 24 the first half is bad. How many points wee given up after halftime? IN 10 weeks of football, Libertyville has given up 68 second half points. I don't do math so good but I think that is only 6.8 points per game given up after halftime.

And they have not trailed after halftime this season. With those stats I would be plenty fine with them giving up that many points in the first half.
Game of adjustments and The 'Ville won the second half 21-0. Don't need the '85 Bear defense out there with that offense.

This same discussion took place in 2010 with Simeon vs. LZ at Gately Stadium in the 7A Q'finals. Resident board and football expert Bones said Simeon's high powered offense didn't need to worry about LZ since they would just outscore them.

Well...

Don't know about everybody else but I haven't been this excited about a high school game in a long time. Good luck to all involved...but gotta say I'm pulling for a Cats win. I feel that Lees and Co. will step up to the plate. Any thoughts?

I echo your excitement. But, umm... "Any thoughts"? There are 53 prior posts on this exact topic, my friend.
