7. I cuss at the TV and ask repeatedly why we arent running the ball more?
8. I send and receive text messages about why arent we running the ball more?
9. I make a post in anger on the message board about why arent we running the ball more?
10. Herman Edwards makes me laugh a few times to take the edge off from the intensity of the game

just not sure they can pull it off...I think Texas pulls out a close one, but I wouldnt put any money on it or anything

I know we need to run the ball, just like the Kang said on bulldawg junction, we have got to find a running game to drain theclock. LSU is only allowing 44.5 ydspg on the ground so far this season. Have you noticed how ****** our running game is right now? Their defensive front is huge (as usual), therefore, running up the middle is out of the question.We have GOT to control the time of possession tonight.The only way we can run the ball on them is if we run around to the outside 75% of the time. And I am talking about speed speed speed.

Personally, I think if we want to win this game tonight, it will have to be with our defense.

Thoughts?

to pound the ball with. Also, I'm not sold that our running game is ****** because we haven't tried very hard to establish the run. Is it as good as last year? I don't think so, but I don't think it's absolute trash either.

One thing I'd like to add: what's with the love affair over Patrick Peterson? Yeah the guy is a decent corner, but I thought he was more like Javier Arenas: feared for his punt return skills more so than being a lock down corner? People on this board are acting like he is Darrelle Revis. You can argue that our WRs won't exactly give any SEC secondaries trouble, and I tend to agree, I just don't see the hype around this Peterson fella.

their DE's weigh 245 and 255- when did this become huge? Their DT's are 280- that's not big...We can run the 17'ing football. Just because NC and Vandy are awful running the ball doesnt mean we shouldnt be hitting it up inside. We have only struggled to run the ball in one game- and we really didnt struggle (13 of 28 rushes were for 5 yards or more) but people suddenly dont think we can run because our playcalling has been ****.

We have to commit to running the football and we will be fine. If we throw 30 passes tonight- it will be an automatic loss.

And Peterson? He is the best CB in the SEC and one of the top 3 in the nation...Kiper has him listed as a top 10 draft pick in 2011
