Can't help but wonder if Tropical Storm Andrea might rain the game out, or delay it to later in the day. The predicted track is for it to be past Charlottesville, around NYC, by then but there's a lot of variability in timing and track prediction.

I wonder if it gets rained out and a 3rd game is necessary will it have to be a double-header or not

I would think its more likely to be pushed off the coast than further inland.

would be a better atmosphere anyway.

You ever been to a game in Charlottesville? While we don't have a party going on outside the outfield the tailgates at UHall will be vibrant (couldn't think of another word) and the Hoo faithful in the stadium will be very much in tune to the game. Hanging on every pitch. Yep, the numbers will also be smaller, but still you will know they are there. Lastly, it's a beautiful park and with the upgrades in the offseason it's a great place to watch a game. One little side note you need to see... Fisher had been in a slump till last weekend when he got his first post season hit, has hit the ball OVER the blue monster in centerfield this year with the BBCOR bats. Look at it and tell me that's not impressive.

Yeah because everyone knows

that going to a game here: http://www.virginiasports.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/121702aab.html?pic=1 is as good or better than going to a game here: http://www.hailstate.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=16800&ATCLID=925407 Nice little park you got yourselves there. Maybe y'all can raffle off a few scarves and a gift certificate to Atlanta Bread Company and buy yourselves some bleachers on the third baseline to match the first baseline. That said....should be a good series.

Your outfield grass is looking rough. Your grounds crew needs to step up its game.

Dude you are reaching hard with that...no comparison between the two

At least you have figured out that you can trash talk and have fun on this board. Unlike the UVA board that looks like it was designed by third graders, pathetic.

That's an old pic from 2007. Here is a more recent one.

Compared to a stadium that holds 10K, if yours actually does then yeah, it's a "cute little park". But, I can remember when it only had bleachers and held MUCH less than the 5K it does now. 10 straight years in NCAA postseason helps build a park and we've come a long way. The future is just as bright as the past 10 years have been so I expect the "bank" to be filled with seats soon and then centerfield and so on. It's a building process you know. I"m not knocking your park, though you continue to knock ours. All I'm saying is it will be rocking and it won't be quiet or subdued. We love our baseball.

I was just giving you a hard time. Your stadium is very nice and hopefully we can increase fan support to a point where we can fill a stadium of that size. Our program was almost reduced to a club sport a little over a decade ago. We've come along way since then, but Rome wasn't built in a day.
