The Savannah Bananas did their city announcements for 2026 last night:

Mississippi-area stops include Memphis, Birmingham, Biloxi, and New Orleans.

The Memphis, Birmingham, and Biloxi dates are in minor league ballparks, but New Orleans is in the Superdome. Crazy if they can sell that out.

They won't have a problem selling that out I don't think. They are expanding pretty quickly, so I'd guess the guaranteed sellouts won't last too much longer, but based on how many people I heard complaining about not being able to get tickets to starkville, I'd guess they won't have a problem selling out the Superdome. With how small the Biloxi stadium is, they'll probably be able to take the waitlist from Biloxi and fill up 20% of the superdome's baseball capacity.

We've never had luck getting tickets in the lottery unless you count the game they played at Clemson's Death Valley last spring where we could've been in the upper deck for it. That was a no go for me.

Banana ball is definitely not my cup of tee, but my kids enjoy watching their "games" on TV. I've entered the lottery again... Not sure if I'm hoping to be selected for tickets or to miss out again.

No thanks. I got tickets in one of the LFL boxes and let them go to the grandkids and adult supervision for Starkville. The adults didn't enjoy at all, the kids as kids do enjoyed running around and spending money but it didn't sound like anyone enjoyed the actual "game" at all. Would not go through the trouble again

I’m a traditionalist but I enjoyed it and wouldn’t mind going to a game once a year or so. Players were great interacting with the kids and I enjoyed the baseball part of it. They did play a full game within the 2 hour time limit and I thought it was interesting how some of the quirky rules they created resulted in an actual baseball play being created when there is usually nothing.

For example, runner on second and the batter walks, runners can advance until all 9 defensive players touch the ball. Middle of the game an a guy from second hustles his butt off and scores with a close play at the plate.

My mom won the lottery for Starkville this year and was astounded at what she could sell them for. She ended up giving them to my little cousin, but yeah, the scalper pricing is crazy.

Thanks for the warning

Agreed. I wouldn't watch it if it was in my neighbors yard. **** is too silly. Girls like it though.

I would disagree. Everyone in our group got their $35/person worth of entertainment out of it.
