Here are the 4 (Including Wiscy missed field goal drive) game winning drives against us by Illinois, BYU, and Wiscy.

7 plays, 76 yards, :48 seconds
6 plays, 72 yards, :41 seconds
10 plays, 70 yards, 2:12 (missed FG after they ran the ball to burn our timeouts), drive before runs was 6 plays, 64 yards, 1:27
6 plays, 42 yards, 1:03

Just leaves you shaking your head.

It was so obvious that Wisky was going to run up the field. The offense gives the Defense zero support. Highly critical of Armstrong. There is not a team on our schedule who has a worse qb. JMO

Have you seen mitch leidner play? TA isnt terrible when he is on he is on fire...its just that when hes off...well...you get the last two weeks. Before these last two weeks everyone was saying how he was the best performing qb in the big ten other than conner cook.

Would trade QB's with you in a heartbeat. Gophers would do some serious damage with TA at the helm.

I'm not one to put players on blast, but IMO when things fall apart TA tries to do too much by himself. That leads to errors and unproductive play. Which leads to an 0-2 start in conference play.

Tommy is terrible on windy days, and he tends to panic on his decisions. Never finds his checkdown which would be a short, high percentage pass. Sad that he still misses the easy safety valve.

TA has been horrible these past couple games. It's in his head. Very rarely does he check down anymore. He locks on & goes with it.

This is true, but Mitch Leidner is terrible on 75 and sunny with 0 mph wind days

Our defense was absolutely gassed on that last drive. Weber was trying to play hurt. VV was out. Newby had to sit out twice with cramps. When I watched the replay we generally had guys in position to make plays, they just couldn't get it done. Wisconsin just beat on us until the runs started working late in the game and when that happened it was over. The offense (Cross missing a hole) failing to pick up A first down to run out the clock was a killer. Once that happened, I figured we were in big trouble. Too easy to get in to field goal range at that point with the guys we had on the field. That was a TEAM LOSS. Offense didn't do nearly enough and the defense just ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.
