MSU has trouble hitting 18 year old freshmen...

It is most unfortunate that MSU does not get to play Kentucky this year. That would be 3 of the most amusing baseball games played this season.

Lucky for us, we still have a home series against South Carolina to try and redeem ourselves.

Do we have our problems? Yes. But are we the only team that does? No. We've beaten Florida, we've beaten Vandy, we swept Auburn, and we could take one from Arkansas today. We've played the toughest SEC schedule up to this point, and we still have to play SC next weekend, and we still are in the mix for Hoover. This thing is far from over right now,especially withseries against LSU, Ole Miss, Bama, and Tennessee left.

The SEC isup and down every weekend, sountil we are out of it, I'm not going to complain. I wish we were better, but we've won 5 games against ranked opponents, and have a chance to get our 6th today. We have a much improved team and that's all I care about at this moment.

they are uniformed and don't really pay attention to our team other than reading a thread on SPS and seeing the final score in the paper. I would venture to guess the majority of them couldn't name our lineup.

We haven't done well with RISP, but damn it gets old talking about it every damn day. We aren't a terrible team, buta lot of people on here will tell you differently.We obviously aren't the best, but we are middle of the pack for certain, and that's improvement over last year.We struggle with RISP, but how many chances have we had recently to hit with RISP? A whole hell of a lot more than last year. I'm much happier losing a game because we can't get a hit with the bases loaded than last year when we couldn't get a guy in scoring position to save our lives.

We are getting hits, but we haven't been able to cash them in so far. It happens, and it's probably going to be a problem for us the rest of the year. I just wish people on here would chill the 17 out and quit complaining about the same **** every day.
