Scenario for UMiss to miss the playoffs.

A two loss SEC team makes the playoffs, especially if one of the losses is close lose to UGA on the road.
You would think so, but it's possible there won't be enough slots for all of them.
Ole Miss is 100% in the CFP. 100%. Tonight’s win over UF sealed it.
But even if didn’t, Texas is going down to UGA, and that puts them at 9-3 at best. They aren’t passing a 10-2 OM.
There’s also absolutely nothing keeping five SEC teams from making it. I guaran-damn-tee you there will be five SEC teams in the CFP Top 10 next week, and none of them play each other for the rest of the way in the regular season.
at this point, i hope they win out. let selmon wallow in his stupid decision to hire his friend with zero experience, and let lebby wallow in his myriad of poor decisions over two years, from his head scratching hires and retentions, to his non-existent recruiting, to his dumba$$ game decisions. i hope kiffin rubs lebby's face in it. and he absolutely will

I could see a scenario where Texas A&M, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt are all 10-2 or better, and maybe they all 6 make it or maybe they don't.
OR (beat at 6-3 MN), ND (beat a #22 Pitt on the road) and possibly OK (beat #4 Bama in TTown) may jump them Tuesday.
I’m guessing all the one loss teams move up a spot after today and Bama falls to around 9 or 10. Oklahoma should be in and ranked ahead of Bama now.
I think OU winning was devastating for Vandy’s chances. It‘s also probably a great thing for Ole Miss because it makes their best win look even better, and they’re not going to fall behind an OU team that they beat in Norman.

1) I can’t see any scenario whatsoever where one of those 6 teams is 10-2 as opposed to 11-1. I’m pretty sure we all know which one.
2) If somehow all 6 were 10-2, you are correct, maybe all 6 would make it, maybe they all wouldn’t. But I’d guarantee you that at least 5 of them would make it.

The problem with any 10-2 Ole Miss scenario is it now depends on us winning the Egg Bowl……. And I just watched an entirely one dimensional offense run for a million yards on us so I consider me not optimistic about our chances of stopping the Kiffin offense.
