So the SEC has determined that the SEC will play a conference only schedule...My question is does the SEC control only the conference schedule, or does the SEC offices have a say in who our OOC opponents are? If not, My other question is what is keeping individual universities from independently scheduling an OOC game that fits both schools schedule. If we decide that we want to play NC State, and NC State wants to work with us to accomplish this in one of our "off weeks", why couldnt this be done? Would be like "the Game of Change" situation to some degree. You could even call it an exhibition game so that its not "official". No conference liability at that point, only the schools liability, which I am sure they are handling anyway. Would create more face time/t.v. time for the schools and would give players more experience/resume boosting opportunities. Just some random thoughts I had on the non-working Friday morning.
