Schedule for the Fall

Does anyone know if the schedule for the fall will be like this last one? Will the home team rotate , etc.

The VHSL is planning for things to be back to the normal 10 game schedule +5 playoff format. The fall schedule should be a new cycle for 2 years like normal.

I know it is supposed to be a 10 game - so since Amherst played Glass at Glass this year, we should travel there in the fall. I' m just trying to figure out for the fall. So the fall will be a new 2 year cycle, all home games this year for Amherst will be away games, etc.

It all could change due to the new cycle.

This Spring season is an anomaly so I wouldn't automatically look at where Amherst played and just rotate H/A. It may work out that way, but it may not? This Fall should be the beginning of a new cycle, so 2022 should rotate the H/A.

Correct! I know Highland Springs opens with the first of 2 home & home with Vance,NC.

I agree 100% and so do the fans. We don't need to have GW or Blacksburg on our schedule anymore. Having Salem, Blacksburg and GW for the first 3 games is crazy. We need to have at least one local opponent. Appomattox had the stands filled more than any game Amherst.
