It seems like every year since forever we have finished our season with the Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss games. I see some other SEC teams that still have some games in November against cupcakes which obviously helps them finish strong. Is our SEC schedule set in stone every year?

...and I think it's because of the Florida/FSU, SC/Clemson, Georgia/GA Tech games. This leaves at least one of the SEC East scrambling for a non-traditional OOC for Week 13 (see Vandy/Wake).
Obvioulsy, AL would want a patsy before Auburn. I think this is a lot smarter than waiting until week 12 for your bye (looking at you Auburn).
I'm not sure about ARK, butI know there was mention some years back to keep Alabama as the second Saturday in November for some time. You'll never get the Ole Miss gamemoved.
Also, I'd hate to see attendance at our stadium for Jacksonville State in week 12.
