Yes the board is made up of arm chair coaches. Doesn’t mean they don’t understand the game of football but the sad part is the attempts to mock anyone else who roots for the team and coaching staff. We all know who they are. My favorite is the guy/ gal who posted after the game claiming I don’t have BTN so I couldn’t watch it. But it was a good win . This after he spends countless hours pissing on our 19 year old QB and Greg Schiano. As predicted most are eerily silent post game wins. If we lose next week at Indiana this fool will be posting for sure. Another win… will be interesting to see.

He’s a little happy there. I think I’m going to yell that at co-workers now when something goes right.
Debbie Downer co-workers get terminated when they continually discredit the workers moving the company forward.

A LIFE COACH.

I don't know enough myself to judge him a great football coach. But I do know that my coaches never prepared me for life like Schiano does. My father prepared me for life and I was fortunate to have him. I don't know these kids family situations but if not the best at home, they are very fortunate to have this man prepare them for life.

The guy may lack the skills of some in Offense game calling- planning but as far as a man based in integrity, faith and leadership he’s very good. I realize today it’s about the almighty dollar but that is what a parent needs for their child when going off to college. DIRECTION … it always pays off in the majority of cases.

Game was a good win.
But I still want to know why the run game had only 37 yds well into 3rd.
Kyle Monangai finished with 148 yds but was only in 60s well into in 3rd quarter when Monangai went on a gash fest. I posted about that in game thread after a great run got him in 70s.
Nice for Wimsatt, Monanagai to get a win.
Wimsatt's INTs didn't bother me but the run thing did

They should be sending this clip to every single athlete Rutgers football is recruiting…so they see the passion they are going to get in their coach. I showed it to my 12-year-old son and he watched it like 20 times, loving it every time.

Regardless of what Greg admits about his emotions after this comeback having seen his past feelings during other tragedy and wins tells me … he was as pumped as ever. Still have a ways to go but for me and many others we will make it to where we want. Perhaps not a B1G or National title but respect and realization that we are able to make someone’s weekend unhappy.

Announcers remarked that Greg had tears in his eyes (he did) coming onto the field after the win.
I'm glad they got the win.
I just want to see a non-blowout vcs tOSU and then I'll know the measure

Games have ebbs and flows… did MSU dominate the stats in the 2 - 3 quarters? No…What do the final stats show? Go look it up… evidently you fail to see … it tells us exactly how close this game was. TBF … if MSU doesn’t have their issues with HC they were I believe looked upon as a 5-6-7 place …bowl bound team. Thought it interesting Harlan Bennett told the press “ we have 6 games left”… guess he’s counting on a bowl game for them?

Some truth to that but MSU did have FIVE fumbles and lost three.
Most teams dont win with those kinds of turnovers

Buddy they were a pre season team looked upon as an almost sure bowl team… head and shoulders above Rutgers. They have a hard time realizing Rutgers isn’t a bad team. We are a good overall squad with some talent at key positions . Indiana should be all they focus upon and CHOP this week. Would you take meeting OSU at SHI stadium 11/04/2023 at 6-2 … would be nice with maybe a tinge of can we compete?

Sure MSU win is a MUCH better win than Wagner.
Still not a win for the ages though
For weeks MSU has been a losing team in the national news for a coach busted fapping on phone calls.
Good players will be running as fast as possible for that portal.
Its a crippled team and as I said tOSU will be the yearly test.
32-14 loss would be progress

What kind of score are you expecting when the other team has a comparable or better player at every position? Give Jonah Jackson a call.

Here’s where you are wrong . In the sense no it’s not Michigan nor OSU or PSU but over their past they are considered a Blue Blood regardless. Don’t be fearful of saying we are getting there.

I’m not so sure many MSU players will be leaving or as many as you may think. It still is a top B1G school . One where we have desired to become. Baby steps perhaps but still an important step in the right direction.

Listen as I said it was a good win
By nature I just stay even and dont collapse in tears over loses or shoot to the moon over wins.
I wasn't upset with RUs INTs or fumbles on a rainey day.
Monangai was still showing a beast mode
It was a good win for a young QB who could have had a worse day.
That said, I think RU beat a team they should have beaten.

I don't think RU should have been in the hole it was.
I played in HS and college and it was a rule that you run when its windy and raining .
RU stopped that and fell behind.
RU ran again and blew MSU away - that's a puzzle .
There might be a reason for that but its far from obvious

Yes a top program players want to take pride in.
That's a reason being on Wanker State is not something players want to be a part of.
Recruiting/portal wont be on fire for incomings imo

Love this video and appreciate Greg as a man and as a coach of young men. Clearly his former players hold him in high regard as well. This will pay dividends over the long term but of course without NiL and fan support he can only do so much. 2.0 is a harder pull, rebuilding from virtually nothing and playing the best teams in the country. Day in and day out it’s a slog and Greg let some emotion out. He cares deeply. I’ve said before and just like 1.0, stability at coaching level and disruption and change happening elsewhere will be a benefit to RU. Today MSU is down and it offers us an opportunity to step in. It was not long ago that PSU was having problems. Play the long game.

With teams stacking the box and challenging GW to beat them, you have to throw.

Let’s see how Wisconsin fares against Ohio State, which happens the Saturday before the Buckeyes visit Piscataway.
And Buckeyes QB McCord might be treating our game as a home game for him in front of family and friends.

There was also last year's sideline skirmish bewteen Schiano and Day.
They'll both remember that

For me, I'll take Monongai and his quick footed beast-mode over a 19 yer old QB in the rain running same few plays over and over. When Monongai got hot it was obvious MSU had no response for him box or not.
Monongai has been becoming a very good RB - now #25 in nation with 635 yds and 7 TDs (and he can block real well)
