Just curious how many, if any school systems have closed. Post if your local school system has closed and the duration.

Bullitt County voted 5pm and haven’t announced, but people are suggesting they will cancel for 3 weeks which gets us to spring break and then go back in a month.

Jefferson County for 3 weeks (ha ha) starting Monday. Looks like I get to start working from home.

Jefferson County’s super said that these are not NTi days. Maybe it’s just semantics since they haven’t applied or been approved for the waiver yet, but I bet JCPS folks are fired up. June 11th last day so far.

FCPS has said nothing. Manny Caulk is very careful and calculating and the board lawyers make sure all t’s are crossed and i’s dotted on everything. I’d be surprised if we heard anything before tomorrow. Maybe by 10 or 11 for the news.

All Ohio schools, public and private, will close at the end of the day Monday, March 16. Will not re-open until Monday, April 6th. Three weeks!

If you all missed it the Kentucky Governor was just on earlier tonight asking to close all schools in Kentucky and going to online. So I expect closures across the board by Monday. Especially since UK is moving to online only after next week being Spring Break.

My alma mater, The School Of Hard Knocks, never closes.
I really don't like stereotypes but this one has proven pretty solid.

On topic, I just heard Anderson called off two weeks. That's a pretty serious amount of money to come up with for child care, if you can find it, and assuming you will be working. I've got friends who moved there from out of state that are scrambling. ( I'm not a jerk, I have to work.)
