that defeats the whole element of surprise and shock. something like black uni's is supposed to an extra element to add excitement to the fans and something more the stoke up the players. "we might be wearing black uni's for a game this year *wink*" is the proper line. if we know it, alabama knows it, then who gives a damn</p>
1 - Black uni's look good and if for once the crowd follws the theme, so will the stadium.
2 - There will not be a sea of Marron and Crimson which mixes to make an entirely undterminable line between the two fanbases
3 - I'm sure they will make a shirt and it will generate extra $

Made sense for Georgia, and it looked good, but our colors are maron and whit, not black. I don't like when our baseball team wears black either.</p>
not much of a surprise if everyone knows about it right .. remember a couple years ago, when georgia did their warm ups in their normal uni's, then changed back in the locker room into black . .. it was a total surprise and that's the key element. I'm assuming the black uni's are supposed to be a surprise, like UGA did. If not, then well, it just won't be as cool</p>
I think all black looks like crap. And as JWS's white helmet debacle has shown us stunts like that have diminishing returns.
