Has anyone here ever had the Caribbean Cask 14 year old from The Balvenie? If so, share your thoughts, thanks......
It is a tasty dram, but I prefer the 15 year single barrel. The Doublewood is nice, but for a little less money, the Glenmorangie Lasanta is better IMO. Hard to ever go wrong with any Balvenie offerings though.
This stuff is fantastic. Balvenie is my favorite and this is my favorite Balvenie.Has anyone here ever had the Caribbean Cask 14 year old from The Balvenie? If so, share your thoughts, thanks......

I'll echo what randystewart said. I have both bottles at home right now, and I prefer the Double Wood over the Caribbean, but both are very good and very smooth. I have yet to try a Balvenie that I do not enjoy...It is very good, but I actually still prefer the DoubleWood. If you have the two side by side, you can definitely taste the finish difference from the Rum cask to the Sherry cask.
