Scott Field or DWS? What do you call it?

I have always called the venue where we play football Scott Field... As do most of the people I know.

What about you?

Technically, Scott Field is the playing surface. DWS is the concrete.

Same for DNF vs. Polk-DeMent Stadium.

Scott Field.

My guess is you'll be able to tell most folks range of age by their answer.

Most, I suppose, but not al. I occasionally call it DWS now, but I don't really use the name often ... mostly just "the stadium" unless I'm talking about one somewhere else, e.g., "The Alabama stadium".

Yeah, but I don't think anyone ever calls it Polk Dement. It has, and will always be, Dudy Noble to everyone.

DWS and Scott Field are pretty much interchangeable. I've pretty much fully converted to calling it Davis Wade as opposed to Scott Field. I don't think it's as much an age factor, either. I'm old enough to have called it Scott Field for nearly half my life, yet I still call it DWS.
