Scott Strickland Game Thread

[L4Dawg]

This is painful to watch

Our kind of game actually, IF we can start hitting shots.

[57stratdawg]

That was clearly off UF.

That was clearly off UF.

100%

[DesotoCountyDawg]

No, out with the dog. What happened?

Totally clean block that got a foul call. He didn’t even touch Hubbard.

[85Bears]

Hubbard is forcing up some bad shots, Florida is stupid to foul him

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Pay the damn electric bill!

[RocketDawg]

Did the last shot go in before the lights went out?

[Death Rattle]

We need to stop taking corner threes

[DesotoCountyDawg]

Did the last shot go in before the lights went out?

Short

[BulldogBlitz]

Did the last shot go in before the lights went out?

If by "in" you mean just fluffed the bottom of the net without going through....yes

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

You could not tell some idiot turned the lights out!

[Barkman Turner Overdrive]

How about a drinking game for the second half? Every time the play-by-play guy mentions Flarda is down two key players, take a shot.

[karlchilders.sixpack]

33 Gators vs 34 Dogs at the half.

[Maroon13]

Pay the damn electric bill!

Tell yall a secret about the lights ...

A student intern (no pay) sits in a box with a control panel, no view of the court. They get directions over a headset what lights to hit and when.

Poor student intern will get a chewing for that.

[anon1787432961]

2 of 15 for 3 in the first half

He inherently knew it wasn't going in.

It’ll be a growing experience for him.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

We have several missed 3s that haven’t hit rim.

Marijuana really plays havoc on depth perception

[POTUS]

We either gotta start hitting threes or pray these wide open ones they are getting keep not going in. Really like what are big men are doing in this one.

OT: are there more horror trailers these days? If you’re watching with young kids, it’s really disturbing.

I don't think my 3 bottles is enough.

Good, we needed a make up call or five.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

He inherently knew it wasn't going in.

Hell, everybody knew it was not going in. But at least you usually keep lights on until halftime starts and the first half ends.

[DoomSlayer]

Bad foul there by Matthews this early in the 2nd half to pick up your 3rd. Just really bad.

[karlchilders.sixpack]

We are at a danger point in this game, right now.

[Pars]

Is Hubbard leg kick trying to draw the foul 17n up his shot?

[DesotoCountyDawg]

Hasn’t he always had the leg kick?

[L4Dawg]

Getting away. They are just better than us.

[85Bears]

Hubbard needs to give up the rock instead of constantly looking for his shot when it isn’t there. Florida is moving the ball trying to find an open teammate. We need to do that.

[BulldogBlitz]

Picked a fine game to go 2-70 from 3.

[Lawdawg.sixpack]

GET THE BALL IN THE PAINT

SHEESH

Halftime Adjustments

Hasn’t he always had the leg kick?

I guess
maybe I’m noticing more because he’s missing.

seems more pronounced lately.
Like he got the call earlier and is trying harder to get it again

We don’t move off the ball at all.

[PrimeDog]

This team is flawed beyond repair. If Melendez can’t score there is no reason for him to be out there.

Harris has gone ice cold. Jones and Cam aren’t scorers or shooters and Hubb can’t get a damn shot off.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

It seems as though Florida has a set of rules for when they play, but we have a different set.

They can't miss either... Ballgame.

[DoomSlayer]

We should have built a 15-20 point lead in the first half but we shot like garbage. At times our offense is so bad we could lose to anybody.

[WilCoDawg]

…..annnnnnd here we go

[Jack Klompus.sixpack]

Just like the gravity spot in Santa Cruz California, the Hump should become a tourist attraction for opposing schools shooting lights out and getting favorable calls.
