Scottie Haralson?

USM played Tulsa tonight and Haralson was playing for Tulsa. I was told he was from Jackson Provine and signed with Connecticut, but transferred to Tulsa later. Really don't keep up with basketball recruiting, but was wondering if he was highly recruited since he signed with Connecticut. He had a great shot. Can't figure how he wound up at Tulsa and didn't transfer back closer to home.

but I wouldn't say great. I was VERY surprised that he signed with UConn, since he wasn't that highly recruited really by anyone else.

He was a good shooter, moved well on offense and understood how to play (ie coming off screens, etc), but wasn't overly athletic. I thought he would struggle to get his shot off in college if guarded closely, as he wasn't too quick, either. Not surprised he is at a program of Tulsa's caliber, but I have no idea what the connection there is.
